A MAN BETWEEN LAW AND ECONOMICS Law and economics belong to the same categories: social sciences. They focus on the same object: a man living in a society. The study in law implies researching the rules that form the society and the State. It means inter alia to try to understand what is happening in the public sector, what are the most important issues concerning the society. On the other hand the study on economics analysis the way people organize themselves to produce and maintain for living. Therefore economics and law discuss different problems using different instruments having however close connections. In the context of globalisation we can distinguish 3 different aspects: economic – WTO and other global institutions like economic unions promote free trade and other economic activity; technological – tanks to Information Technology it is possible to cross territorial barriers; legal – global institutions play a big role in the elaboration of the rule of law. Finally there comes the question: if the concern of the society towards the State, Politics, Institutions which push to the certain point called “the Society without State” or “Market Society” is a new phenomenon caused by globalisation or just a need that has never been satisfied before.
