This study aims to evaluate the posture regulation mechanisms, in both healthy and hemiparetic subjects, by Electronic Baropodometry (BPE), a methodology that allows computerized analyses of plantar pressure values recorded on apposite platforms. On the whole, 20 healthy and 10 hemiparetic subjects were examined by using static analyses. Preliminary results may corroborate suggestions in literature that suggest the hypothesis of a right cerebral hemisphere specialization in posture control.

Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the posture regulation mechanisms, in both healthy and hemiparetic subjects, by Electronic Baropodometry (BPE), a methodology that allows computerized analyses of plantar pressure values recorded on apposite platforms. On the whole, 20 healthy and 10 hemiparetic subjects were examined by using static analyses. Preliminary results may corroborate suggestions in literature that suggest the hypothesis of a right cerebral hemisphere specialization in posture control.File in questo prodotto:
