The study was coordinated by the ILO, Labour Administration and Inspection Programme (LAB/ADMIN) in cooperation with the EC Unit EMPL-B2/Labour Law. The purpose of the study was to consider the role that national labour inspection systems in the EU have as part of a strategic policy response to undeclared work.
