Thin coatings were deposited in high fragmentation regimes from RF (13.56 MHz) glow discharges fed with acrylic acid vapours. These coatings were characterized by a low surface density of COOH groups and resulted homogeneous and very stable in water. PET coated samples were used for the covalent immobilization of RGD peptide via a his amine spacer arm, using COOH surface functionalities as anchor groups. Substrates from the different steps of RGD immobilization were used for cell adhesion assays with 3T3 fibroblasts.

Abstract
Thin coatings were deposited in high fragmentation regimes from RF (13.56 MHz) glow discharges fed with acrylic acid vapours. These coatings were characterized by a low surface density of COOH groups and resulted homogeneous and very stable in water. PET coated samples were used for the covalent immobilization of RGD peptide via a his amine spacer arm, using COOH surface functionalities as anchor groups. Substrates from the different steps of RGD immobilization were used for cell adhesion assays with 3T3 fibroblasts.File in questo prodotto:
