The aim of the present work is to shed light on the relationship between the autograph letter space of Pedro de Padilla (Royal Library, II-1579) and one of the manuscripts that compiles many texts by the poet, and which is preserved in the Bartolomé March Library in Palma de Mallorca under the code MA26-5-08 (olim Ms. B90-V1-08). The constitution of the genetic and evolutionary apparatus of each poem makes it possible to establish the relationships that the autograph maintains with the other testimonies and to establish that, in the cases examined, the lesson as copied in the Mallorca codex reproduces the penultimate and not the last revision of the autograph, which means that this songbook does not incorporate the later amendments that Padilla introduced into his texts and which later converged in the printed editions of his works. This fact allows us to advance a series of considerations about the relationship between Padilla and the anonymous compiler of Palma’s anthology, and about the date of its composition.

El objetivo del presente trabajo es arrojar luz sobre la relación entre el cartapacio autógrafo de Pedro de Padilla (Real Biblioteca, II-1579) y uno de los códices manuscritos que más textos del poeta linarense recopila y que se conserva en la Biblioteca Bartolomé March de Palma de Mallorca con signatura MA26-5-08 (olim ms. B90-V1-08). La constitución del aparato genético y del aparato evolutivo de cada poema permite establecer un orden de dependencia en la enmarañada red de relaciones que el autógrafo mantiene con los demás testimonios y averiguar que, en los casos examinados, la lección copiada en el códice mallorquí reproduce el penúltimo y no el último grado de revisión del autógrafo, lo cual significa que dicho cancionero no incorpora las enmiendas postreras que Padilla introdujo en sus textos y que luego confluyeron en las ediciones impresas de sus obras. Este dato permite avanzar una serie de reflexiones acerca de la relación entre Padilla y el anónimo compilador del florilegio de Palma, y sobre la propia fecha de composición del mismo.
