In chapter 159 of the so-called "Bibliotheca" Photius described a manuscript containing Isocrates' works. Unlike the extant medieval manuscripts of Isocrates, that codex, that Photius probably came upon in one of Constantinople libraries, included all the speeches and letters of Isocrates that have been handed down to us.
