Searching for a literary lexicon that can express the fragmentation and multiplicity of the role and experiences in the kaleidoscope of motherhood, this essay is dedicated to the testimonies of male and female writers, interpreters and characters who compare themselves with autobiographical paths marked by conflicts and reconciliations. Words and blood, myth and body, literature and bioethics substantiate the variations on the theme entrusted to the intersections between different codes of communication. Lyrics, blogs, autobiographical writings, novels, pièces, films, articles: a complex stratigraphy that scans the hermeneutic codes, such as the archetype of the Great Mother and the mystique of femininity, from the immaculate mother to the vertigo of motherhood.
