An inscription was found in 1996 in Benevento (Chiostro di S. Sofia). Three lines can be found with a dedication addressed to an emperor from the Benevento colony. The readable words seem to match the name of Trajan. Furthermore in the inscription the name of the Benevento colony shows another "cognomen" so far unexpected.
