Partendo da Rembrandt e dall‟interpretazione che Ricoeur dà del noto quadro Aristotele tocca il busto di Omero, il saggio si sofferma sul testo/intervista di Paul Ricoeur Le arti, i linguaggi e l’estetica ermeneutica.. Provando ad indicare i temi „innovativi‟ presenti in essa, Caputo arriva ad individuare, come categoria-cerniera tra la filosofia dell‟arte e la filosofia dell‟esistenza, la questione della singolarità (e della possibilità/impossibilità di comunicare la nuda esperienza che la caratterizza).

Starting from Rembrandt and the Ricoeurian interpretation of the famous painting Aristotle touches the bust of Homer, this essay focuses on the text/interview with Paul Ricœur Arts, Languages and Hermeneutic Aesthetics. Trying to indicate the innovative themes of the interview, Caputo identifies (as a link-category between the philosophy of art and philosophy of life) the question of singularity, and the possibility/impossibility of communicating the naked experience that characterizes it.
